One way ticket to mars
Imagine getting the change of being one of the people that gets to travel to Mars.
Think about all the things you have to sacrifice. Taking on such a journey has its consequences.
Men have never been to mars so what you’ll be facing has never happened before.
It will ask a lot from you, starting with the physical and later the emotional damage it does to you.
Beware: there is no going back!
Starting missing simple things like the rain, knowing that you’ll never feel it against your skin ever again.
And you’ll only know how bad it will get the moment you can’t turn around.
At this moment we as humans have drained the earth and we keep testing its limit, but within 12 years the earth will damaged to the point it’s irreversible.
This destruction has forced us to find another way for humans to survive.
Mars is the closest planet we might be able to survive as a species.
But it’s far from perfect. It’s atmosphere is filled with nitrogen instead of oxygen, which we need to be able to breath.
Besides that it’s climate on a good day is a little over -60°.
We have to built a whole new habitat.
Our vision of mars is influenced mostly by movies, but we can’t see Mars as out planet B. We shouldn’t give up on this one.
This planet count 7.7 billion people, and only around 100 people will survive the journey to mars.
The changes of being one of those is:
100: 7,700,000,000 x 100
= 0,00000012987 %
Not counting the fact that you need a special set of skills and abilities to even be considerate for the role.
